There is no cost to you until you are satisfied with our work. You will be sent a proof for your approval. You have the choice of receiving this by email or via USPS. Along with your proof you will receive your invoice. Simply pay the bill and your order will be shipped. Or if you are not quite satisfied with the proof let us know what we can do to fix it.
No, we will do that for you. Our pricing checklist is posted here for your convenience and planning. When we receive your order we will contact you to let you know what your order total will be including shipping and sales tax, if applicable.
We are so certain that you will be thrilled with our work that you are not billed until we have completed the work to your satisfaction. Your satisfaction is guarunteed 100%.
We recommend scanning. You can do this yourself, take your photo to a copy center, or mail us your photo and have us scan it for you. Should you choose to mail us your original, please pack it very carefully. We will return it to you with the same care at no additional cost to you.
Some old photos with metallic elements don't scan well because they are too reflective. These may still be digitized using a digital camera. If you have such a photo you can photograph it yourself with a digital camera on a tripod. Click here for more detailed instructions on how to do this. Otherwise you can find a local photographer to do it for you or mail us the original, and we will photograph it for you for a nominal fee. email us for details.
All orders are sent via USPS. To cover the cost of postage and packaging to insure your photos arrive in great condition, we charge a flat fee of $5 for all US ground orders. If you are overseas or want your order sent with another carrier please email us for costs and instructions.
Absolutely. You may choose to receive your order as an email attachment. You can then print it yourself or have prints made from the file using whichever method you prefer, just as you would with your digital camera files. The attachments will be large files so you can get the best quality prints possible at any standard photo size. Be sure your email provider allows large file attachments. Simply let us know when you place your order that you prefer email delivery and we will not bill you for shipping and handling.
Possibly. Generally it will take about 1 - 2 weeks from the time we receive your order until the time you receive your proof. This naturally will vary depending on the volume of orders we receive. Since our products make great gifts, turnaround time may be longer near holidays. Please consider this and order early. Remember also that the time it takes will also depend on what you need done. An extensive restoration or tricky composite might take longer.
If you are in a hurry, please email us with the exact date that you need your order and the kind of work you want done, and we will let you know if we can get it done on time. Special expedition of orders may require additional fees.
